Squarespace Payments cuts processing fees for a limited time

This is NOT an affilate post - it’s purely informational

Squarespace is making a tempting offer to get merchants to switch to their native payment processor, Squarespace Payments.

For a limited time, existing Squarespace sellers can snag a reduced payment processing fee for DOMESTIC sales.

United States

Promo rate = 2.5% + $0.30 per sale

Standard rates

Domestic Cards (Credit/Debit) = 2.9% + $0.30
American Express = 2.9% + $0.30

United Kingdom

Promo rate = 1.5% + £0.25 per sale

Standard rates:

Domestic Personal Cards (Debit/Credit) = 2% + £0.25
Domestic Business/Corporate Cards (Debit/Credit) = 3% + £0.25
American Express = 3% + £0.25

International payments, where applicable, are at the standard undiscounted rate

This offer aims to help Squarespace sellers keep more of their hard-earned cash—an especially great incentive to boost profits through Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the holiday season.

Act fast—the reduced payment processing rate is only available for those who switch between October 15 and December 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET.

Switching is quick and easy, with Squarespace promising a seamless onboarding process. The lower fees kick in automatically once you’ve made the switch. Squarespace is clearly gunning for users to ditch third-party payment processors by offering lower fees and the convenience of integrated payments.

This offer is only for active merchants - new trial users aren't eligible.

If you’re looking to cut costs during the holiday rush, this is the perfect chance to boost your earnings. Just remember, the promotional rate ends December 31 2024, and payment processing rates will go back to standard levels after that.

Important

  • The offer reduces payment processing fees via Squarespace Payments - Squarespace transaction fees are not discounted.

  • The offer applies to domestic and AMEX card sales.

  • International payments, where applicable, are at the standard undiscounted rate

  • Once you switch to Squarespace Payments you can't switch back to Stripe
